Looking for an entire holiday home with a pool?
Here is a recommendation in Tindaya:
Our apartments in El Cotillo are located in the immediate vicinity of the beach and the sea. With approximately 40 square meters (+ outdoor areas), they are suitable for individual stays, couples, and of course for families with up to three children (e.g., 2 children, 1 baby). Baby cot, baby equipment, and high chair are optionally available. We place great importance on cleanliness and regular maintenance. The rental price includes bed linen and towels for the booked number of people as well as all additional costs. Price depends on the season and length of stay, starting from €89 plus €80 final cleaning for 1–2 adults. No costs for children and teenagers.
Sustainability
By 2026, our goal is to ensure that our guests leave the smallest possible carbon footprint. We have already implemented a variety of measures, and new ones are added every month:
- We reimburse up to €20 for carbon footprint compensation (flight) via Atmosfair* (https://www.atmosfair.de)
- We will install balcony solar systems on the roofs of all apartments to generate 80% of the energy ourselves.
- We implement water-saving measures through awareness-raising and the installation of “low-consumption” appliances.
- We maintain and repair electrical appliances for as long as possible to extend their lifespan.
- When purchasing, we use sustainable furniture and restore it regularly to ensure its longevity.
- Our varnishes, oils, and paints consist of climate-friendly bio-materials.
We use ecological and environmentally friendly cleaning agents, detergents, and toilet paper. - We source our laundry from “local” production facilities.
- We avoid the use of single-use products.
We recommend that our guests buy regional food directly from producers, preferably as organic products. We provide contact details for this purpose. - For drinking water products, we also recommend buying regional products in glass bottles with a reusable deposit system (weekly delivery possible).
- We advocate with local authorities for improvements regarding sustainability, e.g., in the areas of waste disposal and smoke-free beaches.
- We regularly conduct trash collection campaigns and encourage others to participate.
- We sensitize our guests to the purchase of low-quality single-use products (e.g., beach furniture and toys) and offer a collection system for reuse by others.
- We review and recommend sustainable options in gastronomy and tourism-related activities.
- We recommend car rental companies with environmentally friendly vehicle fleets and encourage reducing the need for rental cars when not absolutely necessary.
- We promote longer stays and offer stays of less than 12 days only on the local market.
- All apartments are equipped with multilingual waste sorting systems.
- We actively and financially support the “Clean Ocean Project” (https://cleanoceanproject.org) and “Limpiar Fuerteventura” (https://www.instagram.com/limpiaventura).
- We are switching all official correspondence to digital delivery.
Regular training and information events for employees and service providers on sustainability, resources, climate, and environmental protection are conducted. - Replacement of windows with special thermal windows to avoid the need for air conditioning
- By mid-2025, we will replace printed information booklets in the apartments with a digital version that guests can access via QR code.
*Round-trip flights can be partially reimbursed upon presentation of proof.
Fuerteventura
Hiking
UNESCO declared Fuerteventura a Biosphere Reserve in 2009 due to its magnificent volcanic landscape and pure beaches. The island impresses with fascinating geological diversity, from imposing mountain peaks to impressive crater landscapes. The Biosphere Reserve not only protects natural resources but also promotes sustainable development and the preservation of traditional culture. Visitors can experience the beauty and diversity of Fuerteventura in its purest form, whether through hikes on volcanic peaks or relaxed walks along pristine beaches.
Pure Enjoyment
Between beach visits and island tours, a detour to local cheese dairies and restaurants should not be missed. In La Oliva, the “hot spot” of gastronomy on Fuerteventura, local products are deliciously prepared. From famous goat cheese to fresh regional meat, the variety of regional cuisine impresses with aromas and taste experiences. This is complemented by freshly grown vegetables, crisp salads, and traditional baked goods that reflect the authentic taste of the island.
Surfing
Fuerteventura is a paradise for wind and kite surfers with ideal conditions and waves up to 2 meters high. Surfers from all over the world come here to experience the challenging conditions and the breathtaking backdrop. The island is known for its wide sandy beaches, turquoise water, and a relaxed surf culture. Surf schools and rental stations make it easy for beginners to get started and promote the development of advanced surfers. Fuerteventura is a world-leading surf spot thanks to its spectacular nature, endless beaches, and perfect wind conditions.
La Oliva
Tindaya
The impressive beauty of its volcanic landscape and the untouched purity of its beaches have not been overlooked by UNESCO. The organization declared the island a Biosphere Reserve in 2009.
El Cotillo
El Cotillo, the authentic coastal village in the northwest of Fuerteventura, lies away from the hustle and bustle and mass tourism. In the narrow streets of the old harbor district, fishermen, individual tourists, and wealthy locals meet, many of whom have built their second homes here. In addition to the surf spots in the south of “Cotillo,” there are paradisiacal beaches on the other side. Our apartments are located directly on one of these beaches.
Corralejo
Starting point for the “Parque Natural de Corralejo.” Here you will find the ferry port to Lanzarote and the island of Los Lobos. A starting point for numerous excursions and a trendy party hotspot. The town in the north of the island is characterized by its boundlessly colorful gastronomy and diverse shopping opportunities. Here you will find everything a tourist’s heart desires. The perfect rounding off for a successful, relaxing, adventurous, and extremely laid-back vacation.
La Oliva
The district capital La Oliva, with its approximately 1,200 inhabitants, is surrounded by large, beautiful olive trees, hence its name. In La Oliva, there are restaurants and shops, a hairdresser, a pharmacy, and even a swimming pool as well as various offices. The “Casa de los Coroneles” is located just outside La Oliva on the eastern edge of town. The fortress-like building impresses with its large number of windows and wooden balconies. The Cabrera Béthencourt family commissioned the construction, which was also the seat of the island’s commander-in-chief until the 19th century.
Lajares
You can see the two well-preserved windmills called “Molino” and “Molina” from afar. They are located near the “Escuela de Artesanía Canaria” (Canarian Handicraft School). The school opened in 1950, where many women sold their embroidery, basketwork, and straw hats. There is also a weekly craft market. This place is increasingly becoming a popular meeting point for surfers who find accommodation here, have fun in the bars, or stock up on new equipment.

legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this Privacy Policy. For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser’s address line changing from “http://” to “https://”

If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.

An informal email to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of withdrawal
remains unaffected by the withdrawal.
The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain

We collect, process, and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) only insofar as this is necessary to enable the user to use the service or to bill for it.
Collected customer data is deleted after completion of the order or termination of the business relationship. Statutory
retention periods remain unaffected.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
If you have lodged an objection pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data may—apart from being stored—only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of an important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.
Objection to advertising emails
The use of contact data published as part of the legal notice obligation for sending unsolicited advertising and informational materials is hereby objected to. The operators of the pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of the unsolicited sending of advertising information, such as
spam emails.
3. Data collection on our website
Cookies
Some of the web pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offering more user-friendly, effective, and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and allow cookies only in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality
of this website may be limited.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic
communication process or to provide certain functions you request (e.g., shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its
services. If other cookies (e.g., cookies for analyzing your browsing behavior) are stored, these are addressed separately in this Privacy Policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Hostname of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
A merging of this data with other data sources is not performed.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website—this requires the collection of server log files.
Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain
unaffected.
Inquiry by email, telephone, or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our
legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in effectively handling inquiries addressed to us.
The data you send to us as part of contact inquiries will remain with us until you request deletion, withdraw your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—especially statutory retention periods—remain unaffected.
For important changes, such as in the scope of the offer or in the case of technically necessary changes, we use the email address provided during registration to inform you in this way.
Processing of data (customer and contract data)
We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for establishing, defining the content of, or changing the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
4. Plugins and Tools
Google Web Fonts
This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the consistent display of fonts. When you access a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.
For this purpose, the browser you use must connect to Google’s servers. This gives Google knowledge that our website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offerings. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
For more information about Google Web Fonts, please visit https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on our websites. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
reCAPTCHA is used to check whether data entered on our websites (e.g., in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. To do this, reCAPTCHA analyzes the website visitor’s behavior based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g., IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website, or
mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not informed that an analysis is taking place.
Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offerings from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.
